Cab Tariff - City regulated

$3.50 - up to first 57 metres or for up to the first 11 seconds while travelling 17 km/hr or less, or a combination thereof.

$0.25 - each additional 130 metres or part thereof.

$0.25 - each additional 26 seconds while cab travelling 17 km/h or less.

10% Senior Citizen Discount

A taxicab driver shall not carry more than 5 passengers or more than a number equal to the maximum insured capacity of the taxicab.

This tariff refers to trips between any points within the City of London or withing 5 kilometers thereof. The fares shall be calculated from the time of the pickup of the first passenger to the time of the discharge of the last passenger. The driver of a taxicab may make a change, to be negotiated with the passenger or passengers prior to the trip, for parcel handling; such charge shall not apply to luggage or baggage accompanying a passenger or passengers transported between any transportation terminal and the pickup or destination points of the passenger or passengers.

Senior Citizen Discount

A 10% discount on the tariff will be given, on a 24 hour per day basis, to senior citizens. The discount is to be calculated on the highest full dollar registered on the taximeter (i.e. the discount on a $2.50 fare would be calculated on $2.00 only and would equal 20 cents).
